About ArchAngel Ministries


ArchAngel Ministries is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable organization dedicated to living the Gospel of Jesus Christ through the Spiritual and Corporal Works of Mercy. Inspired by Christ's call to feed the hungry, comfort the sorrowful, instruct the ignorant, and pray for the living and the dead, we seek to serve both the soul and the body of every person we encounter.



The Regnum Dei Center


Our principal work is building the Regnum Dei Center, a place set apart for prayer, formation, and fellowship. Its name, Latin for "the Kingdom of God," reflects our hope that all who come here will draw closer to Christ and carry His Kingdom back into their homes, parishes, and communities.


The Center is designed to host:


  • Overnight retreats for individuals, families, parishes, and ministry groups
  • Conferences and speaker events that deepen understanding of the faith
  • Ministry gatherings where apostolates can plan, pray, and grow together
  • Prayer groups seeking a quiet, welcoming space to gather before the Lord



A Work in Progress, Built in Faith


The Regnum Dei Center is an ongoing labor of love. As God provides, we continue to expand our facilities and grow our retreat and ministry programs to better serve the faithful. We invite you to join us through prayer, volunteering, or financial support as we build a home for encounter with Christ.

defining story: Responding to the Lord's Call

The retreat center was first imagined in 2008 as a nonprofit cancer foundation for Catholic families experiencing childhood cancer in need of support. Inspired by a young daughter's calling to serve in Youth Ministry, ArchAngel Ministries acquired the retreat center adjacent to our family farm to breathe new life into this beautiful property. Particularly looking for a retreat center suited to the Emmaus/Emaus community, the Regnum Dei Center was completely rebuilt through generous donations of time, treasure, and talent since 2015 - a labor of love inspired by God to bring His Kingdom to a place here in the beautiful foothills of Western North Carolina. A Place Set Apart to Encounter God

The Regnum Dei Center is dedicated to welcoming Christians into a place of reflection, prayer, and fellowship, where hearts can grow in deeper communion with God.


In a world of constant noise and endless demands, it can be difficult to hear the still, small voice of the Lord. The Regnum Dei Center offers a refuge from that noise: a quiet, prayerful setting where guests can step away from daily distractions and turn their attention fully toward Christ.

Reflection

Time in silence allows us to examine our lives honestly, listen for God's direction, and rediscover the peace that only He can give. Our grounds and accommodations are designed to foster stillness and contemplation.

Prayer

Whether through personal devotion, the Rosary, Scripture, or prayer in community, guests are invited to speak with God and rest in His presence. Prayer is at the heart of everything we do.

Meditation

Christian meditation invites us to dwell prayerfully on the mysteries of our faith, allowing God's Word to move from the mind into the heart. Through practices such as Lectio Divina, Ignatian contemplation, and meditation on the mysteries of the Rosary, guests are encouraged to ponder the life of Christ and let His truth take root in their lives.

Fellowship

Faith is not meant to be lived alone. Retreats, conferences, and ministry gatherings bring believers together to share their journeys, support one another, and be strengthened as members of the Body of Christ. Learn more about our Events.
